DaVinci Resolve is the premiere program for this, so I highly recommend it. In that case, just select the "Clip Attributes" and change the FPS from 60 to 30, whereapon it will play at half-speed on the timeline. How come most discussions on FPS and resolution is always 60FPS or 30FPS. I should imagine that playing the 60FPS footage back at 30FPS would be a much better way to "smooth" things. I've never played with using optical flow in this situation and don't know if it actually has any effect when dropping 60FPS on a 30FPS timeline but it might be worth investigating that also. In this Video I'll tell you How you can Export/Render Video at 60fps using which you can Fix you DaVinci Resolve project Stuck at 18/24/30 FPS Very Easily, You can shift your entire edited project.

The software may be free, but the hardware needed for smooth performance is not. If the loss of sync is only over long periods, it might be a 30 fps vs. Some cameras can be 'hacked' for other settings. MAX PERFORMANCE (60FPS AND 4K SETTINGS) resoultions mods: http://raboninco. Re: Can't select 29.97 fps for rendering.

i have a problem with converting a DaVinci Resolve Output to HEVC HDR.

Unfortunately Resolve's motion-blur is pretty rudimentary but it's often "good enough". A memory leak fix and a fix for the NVDEC color renderer problem for the GPU. If it looks kind of stoccato due to the fact that higher framerate footage will not have a 180 degree shutter angle on a half-rate timeline, I sometimes add a bit of motion blur on the color page. If it looks okay (usually when the footage contains relatively little movement) then all good. When I need to use some higher framerate video on a lower framerate timeline, and retain the actual speed of the original footage then where the difference is a simple multiple (such as 60/30 or 50/25) I just drop the video on and take a look at the results first.
